Custom St. Petersburg Luxury Home Design
This St. Petersburg, Florida project holds a very special place in our hearts, and we were truly honored to bring it to life alongside our client. To ensure the home felt deeply personal, layered, and timeless, we traveled to New York and across Europe to source the absolute perfect luxury pieces.
Because so much of the furniture and millwork was custom designed, every single room feels thoughtful and entirely unique. We loved mixing materials to keep the eye moving and the design interesting. Throughout the spaces, you will find metal mesh cabinet fronts, richly layered textures, tailored upholstery, built in shelving, and incredible statement lighting.
The entry and upper hall make a strong architectural statement right away with a dramatic hanging fixture and a clean black railing. Meanwhile, spaces like the living room and office lean into warmth and personality with collected objects, custom details, and beautiful views of the palm trees outside.
One of our absolute favorite aspects of this design is the contrast between the front of house and the back of house spaces. The main kitchen feels bright, calm, and welcoming. We used custom inset cabinetry throughout the space, pairing soft white finishes with warm wood details and polished metal pendants. To elevate the room, we brought in natural marble and quartz sourced directly from Brazil and Italy. But when you step into the scullery and utility spaces, the vibe shifts. These back of house areas embrace a darker, moody, and totally unexpected aesthetic.
That mix of polished and bold design continues everywhere you look. Just wait until you see the graphic stone floor in the laundry room or the bold wallpaper and arched shower wrapped in marble in the bathroom. The end result is a home that feels highly customized and luxurious, yet incredibly warm and livable. It is packed with character and definitely breaks the mold of a typical Florida design.
