Due to DBH’s non-traditional path and education into interior decorating and design, his aesthetic tends to be non-traditional as well. Mixing his use of color, texture, pattern, scale, and even styles.

However his partiality of importing craftsmen and wares from all over the USA and across the globe, is a nod to a bygone era.
