Ibis Isle Condo: A Luxury Palm Beach Bathroom Renovation

We loved heading down to Ibis Isle in Palm Beach to tackle this luxury condo bathroom renovation. This project was for an amazing repeat client. We had already designed their New York City properties, so we were thrilled to partner with them again to upgrade their Florida getaway.

The original footprint was a bit tight and uniquely laid out. The bathroom was split into two distinct zones: a closed off toilet and shower room, plus a vanity area that opened right up to the main room. We needed to maximize storage and functionality without making the space feel cramped.

To solve the space constraints, we managed to fit in a highly requested second sink. We cleverly extended the vanilla onyx countertop and added a small shelf to squeeze maximum storage out of the layout. And speaking of the vanilla onyx, it is the absolute star of the show here. We used it throughout the design from the custom backsplash to the double vanity to bring warmth and a fluid, natural feel. We then grounded all that glowing stone with a rich wood vanity to create the perfect visual contrast.

Over in the bathing area, we installed a sleek undermount tub framed by a custom niche. We tucked integrated lighting inside the niche to cast a soft architectural glow, which really plays up the calm, coastal elegance of the room. Finally, we brought in classic Waterworks fixtures to stay true to the period of the building and add those perfect elegant finishing touches.
