With each project we study our clients’ ultimate wants and needs for their specific project. Sometimes that involves educating our clients on what materials and specific enhancements we can create for their space. With over 20 years of experience, we bring a high level of technology including real life and practical experience on the jobsite and at the factories working while we work with our trades. As a team that is not afraid to get our hands dirty and learn, we find that this is the best way to experience the emotional rush of the build process and enjoy in the in-depth design. Creating detailed drawings and renderings allow us to bring our visions to life for our clients while intensive sourcing for unique finds allows each piece to be unique and deeply connected to the design.

For instance, we visit quarries to handpick marble, ensuring the perfect slabs for a master bedroom back wall. We work directly with artisans to customize each piece, adding grooves and lighting that transform stone into a luminous centerpiece.
We are always on the lookout for unique and high-quality items. When selecting pieces from international markets or artisans, we prioritize uniqueness and longevity. Our goal is to curate spaces that feel collected and thoughtfully put together.

We vet a lot of our vendors. We like to visit their shops and work rooms, it creates another experience and a “story” also for our clients so they have comfort knowing where their products come from.

One of our favorite examples of sourcing and incorporating unique pieces is the story of a tree from a friend’s farm used to create a bespoke table. This piece not only adds value to the design, but also tells a story, enhancing the connection between the space and its inhabitants. We believe that every home should be filled with details that echo our clients’ uniqueness. From custom wall coverings inspired by their adventures, to carefully curated collections of art and furniture, we ensure every element of our designs is personal and meaningful.
What do you do for a fun client who has unutilized space under a staircase in their duplex? Create a “Cat Taj Mahal” of course!
We measured each cat and created a cutout in their shape. Inside we utilized leftover marble from the custom bar area that perfectly housed the kitty litter and their supplies.

For instance, on one of our first visits to Indonesia, the workers were honored by our presence, marking the first time a designer had taken the time to visit their factory. This experience was a testament to our dedication to understanding the entire creation process.
