We had the opportunity to go to NY NOW Convention at the Javits Center this month! We discovered so many interesting new brands and products coming out that we are excited to use in our future projects!

1. We were surprised at how many incredible candle companies where showcasing their products. I think we smelled just about every good smell you can think of that can be made into a candle, even French Toast! Candles are a great accessory to use in your home to create a more cozy, welcoming space. While candles are a lovely accessory, it IS possible to have too much of a good thing. We recommend to always make sure your home is well ventilated to maintain air quality.

2. If you are looking for a great way to add fun colors and patterns into your living space, NY NOW had an amazing selection of pillows from various different vendors. We especially enjoyed the selection of pinks and plums in the image below.

3. It was really exciting to see the new drinkware, cutlery, and dishsets that were featured. Almost every vendor had a new design take on classic pieces, from pitchers shaped like birds to tea sets made with rounded marble tops. Seeing companies innovate everyday products gets us excited as designers to use their items in our spaces! We were reminded simplicity can be make a statement when it is beautifully executed.

4. NY NOW was filled with wall inspiration! We saw lots of great art pieces with bold colors and fun graphics. We also enjoyed the sculptures in shadow boxes that were featured at Tommy Mitchell. 3D wall decor is a great way to introduce depth and interest into a space.

We are always looking to find new products, tricks & tips to get new ideas to make your home more special and unique! We look forward to returning to NY NOW next year!
